President: Stephanie Zunini, CAA
2021-Present

Stephanie is a fifth generation Northern Nevadan, born and raised in Reno, “The Biggest Little City in the World.” She graduated from the University of Nevada with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology before pursuing her Masters of Science in Anesthesia at Case Western Reserve University’s Washington, D.C. campus. She is currently practicing in Denver, Colorado.

Vice President: Joey Parrish, CAA
2022-Present

Joey was born and raised in Las Vegas and earned his Bachelors degree in Neuroscience from the University of Nevada. He then went on to earn his Masters of Science in Anesthesia from NOVA Southeastern University at the Tampa campus. He is currently practicing as a CAA in Tampa, Florida. 

Secretary: Leah Thaheld, CAA
2022-Present

Leah was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Nevada. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with her Master's of Science in Anesthesia and is now a practicing CAA at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.

Treasurer: Rachel Matsumura, CAA
2021-Present

Rachel was raised in Reno and was a collegiate swimmer at Indiana University while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and a minor in psychology. She finished her Masters of Science in Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine and has been enjoying her career as an anesthetist at Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. 

Legislative Fund Committee Chair: Alexa Aramini, CAA
2022-Present

Alexa was born and raised in Reno and earned her Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Nevada. She later earned her Masters of Science in Anesthesia from Case Western Reserve University's Washington, D.C. location. She worked as a CAA at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in DC before moving to her current practice in Austin, Texas.

Las Vegas

DEI Committee Chair: Angely Jimemez, CAA
2022-Present

Angely has lived in many places growing up, both in the United States and around the world and she is proud to call Nevada one of her homes. She had the privilege of graduating from Coronado High School In Henderson, Nevada and continued her studies with a bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Florida. After a gap year, she decided anesthesia was her calling. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University's Fort Lauderdale Campus in 2018, and took her first job as a CAA in Tallahassee, Florida. She is currently practicing in Austin, Texas.
